MPM1D Multiplying and Dividing Fractions 2016-02-11

The comfort level seemed pretty high to me today – most of you can confidently multiply and divide fractions. That’s great!

If you’re having trouble, though, you might want to spend some more time practising. You still have questions 5 and 6 from yesterday’s work, but here’s an additional source of questions if you like:

Choose the difficulty level (how big the numbers are) and click the Create button. The solutions are generated for you to check your answers as well.

Ready for division?

Remember to reduce fractions whenever possible to make calculations easier. Also, improper fractions are generally nicer to work with than mixed numbers.

Tomorrow we’ll be reviewing operations with integers. See you then!
