We worked on the kinds of trends we can see when collecting data and using scatter plots to show it. Here are the words we used:
- Linear vs. Non-Linear
- Increasing or Positive Correlation
- Decreasing or Negative Correlation
- No Correlation vs. Weak, Moderate, Strong, and Perfect
We sketched some sample graphs for each to show the differences. We then discussed how to sketch a line or curve of best fit on those scatter plots.
