Determining the slope-y-intercept form

Homework

Find the linear equation in the form y=mx+b for each situation.

Given the following point on the line and the slope:

  1. (2,2) and m=5
  2. (-5,3) and m=\frac{1}{2}
  3. (\frac{1}{2},4) and m=-\frac{1}{3}
  4. (0,-10) and m=\frac{11}{17}

Given the following two points on the line:

  1. (2,4) and (-3,5)
  2. (7,-1) and (-7,12)
  3. (\frac{1}{2},2) and (-3,\frac{5}{2})
  4. (2,11) and (18,11)
